Dignity in Dying
Assisted dying should be a legal choice
I believe assisted dying should be a choice. Terminally ill people should be given control over how their life ends. This would enable them to live their lives now and provide quality of life and peace of mind for themselves and their family. Please watch my seven short videos to understand why. “I want to live as fully as possible in my remaining time, without the fear of a painful death hanging over me.”
My thoughts are filled with uncertainty and fear that my pain and sickness will not be controllable — but having the option of an assisted death would change all that. I just want to say goodbye to my family and drift off peacefully.
“For me assisted dying isn't about dying, it's about living.”
